The aim of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation is to create and develop a platform for scientific, research and development cooperation aimed at exploiting the synergies of the scientific potential of the participating units. Extensive cooperation between researchers, supported by the Federation’s activities, will create a new quality in scientific research and enable the development of mechanisms for its commercialisation.
The Federation's activities
The main tasks of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation include: conducting scientific activities, educating doctoral students, awarding scientific degrees or degrees in the arts, commercialising the results of scientific activities and the know-how related to these results, popularising science and cooperating with entities from the socio-economic environment.
The VIZJA University Scientific Federation is an independent entity within the higher education system (see the Federation Register). The establishment of the Federation does not mean that the participating entities are merged into a single entity. The universities that are part of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation retain their identity and formal and legal independence.
Our Federation is a deliberate and targeted consolidation of scientific potential and the development of opportunities to create new quality in the area of research and development. By working together, we are able to achieve much more than by working individually. Thanks to synergy, it is possible to conduct joint scientific activities and establish national and international partnerships in the field of research. We pursue a policy of supporting scientists in their scientific work and in building research teams.

Our mission is to create an integrated academic space that combines the scientific, educational and social potential of two strong academic centres – Warsaw and Krakow. Federation authorities
President
The one-person body of the Federation – manages and represents it externally. Implements scientific policy and is responsible for the proper functioning of the Federation.
Prof. Radosław Wiśniewski, was appointed as the first President of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation. He is a professor of economics, a long-time employee of the Business Faculty of VIZJA University and Director of the Doctoral School at the university. The first President has extensive experience in the fields of science, research and development, and economic life.

Vice-President
He coordinates the Federation’s activities at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University in Krakow, supervising the implementation of development strategies and scientific policy. He provides support for individual scientific disciplines and assists in the scientific development of researchers in participating units.

The Federation Assembly of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation considers matters and makes decisions concerning the functioning of the Federation in the following areas: implementation of scientific strategy and policy, supervision of activities and functioning, organisation of scientific activities, and education at the doctoral school.
